The Kailahun district, nestled in the country's east near the Guinea border, provides the kind of remote, high-altitude conditions that breed genuinely distinctive coffees. Orange Bourbon is a variety celebrated for its sweetness and nuance, and here it is given the full natural treatment, dried slowly in cherry to concentrate every ounce of fruit character. Expect a generous, warming cup: stewed apricot, rich cacao nib, and a deep plum sweetness that lingers long after the last sip.
